Pricing

Unless otherwise specified, the List Price displayed for products on our website, in either foreign currency or Indian Rupees, represents the full price of the product and includes international shipping charges, unless stated otherwise in the Shipping Fees.

For items purchased from The Rainbow Town, we will charge your credit card before your order enters the shipping process. In the event that we are unable to ship certain products from your order, we will notify you electronically and provide a refund for the value of the unavailable products. Please note that any applicable additional Shipping Fees will not be refunded.

While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, there may be instances where a small number of items in our catalog are mispriced. If we discover a mispricing, we will take the following actions:

• If the correct price of an item is lower than our stated price, we will charge you the lower amount and proceed with shipping the item to you.
• If the correct price of an item is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for further instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of the cancellation.

The prices displayed on our site are quoted in U.S. Dollars, which can be viewed in your preferred currency using the currency converter link. However, please note that the currency converter is provided for informational purposes only and is not an exact representation of the final amount. The actual amount charged to your credit card will be the equivalent amount in your credit card's currency, based on the conversion rates determined by your bank or credit card provider on the date of billing.

Shipping

At The Rainbow Town, we ensure that your orders are shipped directly from our warehouse in Pune, India to your provided shipping address via India Post/Shiprocket. Our order processing typically takes 2-3 working days, followed by a shipping duration of 4-6 working days.

We regularly update and expand our list of shipping destinations available on our website.

To maintain high customer satisfaction, we do not ship backorders. Our goal is to have every item displayed on our website in stock. In the rare event that an item you purchase is unavailable, we will promptly notify you within 2 working days of your purchase and provide a full refund for the out-of-stock item.

Please note that we can process only one shipping address per order. If you wish to order multiple items and have them shipped to different recipients, kindly place separate orders for each recipient. We do not ship to Post Office Box addresses, and we cannot be held responsible for non-delivery if the provided delivery address includes any P.O. Box details.

Shiprocket will make three delivery attempts at the address you specified in your order. If, after three attempts, they are unable to deliver the package, they will contact us to report the undeliverability. You can track the progress of your package using our Order Tracking facility. In the event that the package status is marked as undeliverable, please contact Shiprocket Customer Service at their local number and provide your tracking number for further assistance in locating your package.

Duties And Taxes

All of The Rainbow Town orders are shipped internationally from our warehouse in Pune, India to your provided shipping address via Indiapost. Due to the nature of international shipping, occasionally a customer may have to pay additional import duties and taxes which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. The large majority of orders will not have to pay any additional fees. However, we are unable to calculate when and how much these infrequent customs duty charges will be levied. In the case where additional customs charges are assessed, you will be responsible for paying these additional fees. To make your shopping experience as seamless as possible, we have arranged with Speedpost to customs clear your goods for you and deliver them to your doorstep. If you are presented with an invoice from Speedpost for import duties and taxes, you will have to pay Speedpost directly at the time of delivery. The Rainbow Town takes no responsibility for non-delivery of orders in case such taxes and duties are not accepted and settled by the recipient at the delivery address and will not provide any refunds in such cases.

Fabric we use:

The Rainbow Town products are meticulously handcrafted using premium natural fibers. The unique variations in colour, texture, and finish are inherent to handmade items. Our products encompass traditional crafts such as hand spinning, dyeing, weaving, wood block printing, and embroidery. We employ both vegetable dyes and commercial dyes, aiming to minimise our environmental impact while achieving the best colour properties. Please note that irregular weaves or prints are not defects, as handloom items inherently possess a degree of uncertainty in uniformity.

Wash Care Instructions:

1. Avoid mixing darker clothes with lighter clothes to prevent any unexpected colour blending.

2. Wash with like colours in the washing machine with mild detergent 

3. We suggest gentle hand washing with a mild detergent, if there is any embellishments on the dress like gotta laces, fancy buttons, bows etc.

4. During the first few washes, wash them separately.

5. Gentle dry them inside out in a shaded area.

We take great pride in the unique character of our handcrafted products. They may have slight irregularities, but that's what makes them truly one-of-a-kind!

Note: We recommend washing similar colours together and drying garments inside out in the shade. 

Colours: 

We have made every effort to display the colours of the products on this website as accurately as possible. However, the colours you see may vary depending on your monitor, and we cannot guarantee precise colour accuracy. Since our products are also not machine made in large quantities but in fact made by an artisan and in small batches, each batch could have a slight difference in the shade of the colour due to the human involvement in the process.

Size Chart and Fit Information:

For your convenience, a size chart is provided for all products, indicating the garment measurements. Please note that our sizes are designed to fit kids with a 'Slim to Medium' body type for their respective age. If your child has a 'medium to chubbier' body type, we recommend choosing a size larger for a better fit.

Boys Shirts and Kurtas:

To ensure a comfortable fit, our boys' shirts and kurtas are intended to be slightly loose.

Individual Fit Considerations:

It's important to keep in mind that every child has a unique body type, height, and weight. Therefore, the fit of our outfits may vary depending on the child's individual health and physique. Rest assured, all our clothes are designed to be comfortable and accommodating.

Details for Girls' Frocks:

Our girls' frocks feature adjustable belts at the back for waist adjustment. Additionally, please note that the length of our frocks is slightly longer than usual. For added comfort, pre-washed Mul cotton lining is provided in the upper body of the frock.

To maintain the integrity of our clothing and ensure the highest standards, we have a strict no return, no exchange policy. We encourage you to carefully review all product details, including the size chart and measurements, before placing your order to ensure a perfect fit for your little one.

Parcel Condition: 

Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we want to ensure that you receive your package in perfect condition. We request that you carefully inspect the parcel upon delivery. If you notice any signs of tampering, damage, or if the package appears to be opened, we kindly ask you to refuse acceptance of the parcel. This way, we can address any issues promptly and ensure that you receive a new, intact package.
